Several Points For Buying Snow Boots

Good thing about snow boots: they don't differ much and have almost the common features as women's snow boots and men's snow boots. But you need to make a difference between winter boots and snow boots as they are worn in wet conditions.

Winter boots specifically cater to long time snow wearing in little wet or muddy condition and rarely offer features commonly found in snow boots. Consider the following points when buying snow boots.

Can I ride an 08 Rome Artifact 153 with size 11 boots?

Hi, Im about 5'11 and 145lbs. I own 08 L/XL rome arsenal bindings and have a size 11 boot. Will the size of my boots and bindings be ok for a Rome Artifact 153? Also can the Artifact be used for free riding? Im in the park alot, but I also just like to cruise sometimes.

According to the Rome website, that board has a 250mm waist:

Using a snowboard calculator (http://www.frostyrider.com/tips/size-guide.htm), your size 11 feet should require a board with a waist of 251mm min, 253mm optimal, 257 max - so the board waist of 250 is a little small but pretty close. You would probably get away with it unless you are carving on the groom or hitting very steep half pipe landings which is where toe drag is the biggest drag (sorry). Binding lifters would also help.
