How can I make a simple pirate costume?

I am a girl! my school and play a pirated game and I will not waste a lot of money in buying one. I have $ 40 to buy what I need to make a costume. Besides, I have some of my tips him. I need help and many ideas for what i get, what kinds of things I do, what should I do with my hair and makeup and stuff like it. Thank you for the support network.:)
