Understand basics of color design digital scrapbook

In creating scrapbook pages, digital or traditional the most important thing is design. While covering many aspects of design, color is often more wrong. Without an understanding of how colors can work together pages tend to distract from the expected point of coordination or centerpiece. You want the readerâ € ™ s eyes to focus on one or two major themes or follow the flow of the page. How page flows is critical because it determines what items will be readers tend to notice and the order in which those intended to be seen. When used properly, color can be used to direct readerâ € ™ s attention to the key elements on your pages or to guide them through their creation.

The first thing to note is what color is, or where it comes. Colour is simply light. You can notice this by shining light through a prism. The color of an object is determined by how it absorbs or reflects light. When light hits an object it absorbs the colors light, except one. This is the color you see. Therefore, a red object absorbs light and reflects red. It is also important to note that black and white are not colors. They are the lack of fullness or color. The black is the absence of color, turn off the light in a room and bags, dark (black). White is the fullness of color, an object that absorbs does not reflect light and color appear white one. It has all the colors in it. Some people tend to get this backwards, and mix colors when they purchase dark brown or black, not white. Gray is produced by combining black and white while Brown is several colors together (but not all).

Colors are often referred to as primary or secondary. The primary colors are the building blocks for all other colors are red, blue and yellow. The secondary colors are color produced by the same amount of primary colors. The secondary colors are orange (red + yellow), green (blue + yellow) and purple (red plus blue). It is important know the difference between primary and secondary colors, and that will help you determine which colors go well together.
